Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures: Season 1: Story 7: Lys and the Snowy Mountain Rescue

What is it ? : The Young Jedi have been sent to Andraven to help with the annual migration of a herd of Wellagrins across the mountain to more fertile fields. The herders show the Young Jedi how to handle the creatures, summoning them with flutes.
During the journey the Wellagrins become separated, but Lys' attempt to play the flute causes an avalanche, and by the time the herd is once again gathered they need to spend the night during a storm on the mountain.
However one of the herders has become lost, and their voices don't carry through the storm, but fortunately they discover the flutes do, so they manage to reach and rescue the herder, but their footprints cause another avalanche, which they then ride down the mountain to just short of their destination.
They meet up with Master Zanna, and tell her of their adventure before starting a snowball fight.

High Points : Again, another with very little going on, there's not even a particular educational message I could pick up apart from snowball fights can be fun!
I suppose I was amused that the Wellagrins are seal like creatures which swim through the snow. Meaning that all the avalanches are of no danger to the creatures at all, as they herders even mention that they'll be absolutely fine.

Low Points : There's not even much I can criticise, as it's just a bit bland. I suppose I'd wonder why the Jedi Academy sends Younglings to help herd cattle over a mountain, as it doesn't seem particularly educational.

So what do you really think ? : It's fairly nice looking, it's inoffensive, there's really not much to say about this one at all.

Final Words : It's fine, is all I can say about this one.

Score : 6.5/10

my own 2 credits id say the lesson is patience you cant just crack a whip and send the animals running in the right direction you have to gently coax and herd them making sure they stay together so you dont lose any.

Id call it a good lesson for padawans in patience and the notion that not every problem can be solved with a lightsaber or by chucking a rock at it

Well spotted, this one didn't catch my attention as well as many of the others, so I did have one eye on my phone while it was playing, so missed that message.
