Description: The SRV-1 was designed for the New Republic as a troop transporter and patrol vehicle, and although only ever produced in small numbers it proved popular enough to be sold on the open market as well. Troops have complained about the cramped conditions aboard, but the fire support it can provide, and the high speed it can manuever at has made it popular when larger and heavier troop transports have been unavailable. The SRV-1 was originally concieved as a patrol vehicle, but it never really lived up to this role, being nothing more than an armed speeder truck.
