Second Season of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adv

A second season of the animated comedy adventure series “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” is set to return this summer on Disney XD. Recently nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, the fun Force-filled series will continue the story of the Freemakers as they join the Rebellion in their fight against the Empire.

NEW VIDEO: A season two sizzle is available here.

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, announced, “The series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling. We’re looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.”

At the end of the first season, the Freemaker family found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Their new circumstances bring them face to face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving Sith Lords and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC, a terrifying hunter droid who continually modifies himself to fit any occasion. In response to these threats, Rowan’s powers grow and strengthen until he has a vision of a sleek, invulnerable ship that can save the Rebellion and stop the Empire in its tracks – the Arrowhead. The catch is the Arrowhead is a ship only Rowan can build. Once again, it’s up to the youngest Freemaker to save the galaxy.

Prior to the second season debut, five new shorts that fill in the storytelling between seasons one and two of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” debut WEDNESDAY, MAY 4, on Disney XD in celebration of the Star Wars fan-generated “May the 4th Be With You” holiday. A peek of the upcoming season of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” will also be revealed at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida in April. More details on Star Wars Celebration are available here.

The first season of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” ranked among Disney XD’s top-rated animated series during 2016, and to date, has reached over 55 million Total Viewers across the U.S. – including 21 million Kids 2-14 and 11 million Boys 2-14 – and amassed an additional 6 million viewer engagements across key digital and social platforms including Disney XD VOD, the Disney XD app, YouTube and Facebook.

“LEGO® Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures” is a production of Wil Film, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm. Developed for television by Bill Motz and Bob Roth (“Penguins of Madagascar”), they join Torsten Jacobson (“LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales”) and Jill Wilfert (“The LEGO Movie”) as executive producers alongside producers Carrie Beck (Star Wars Rebels), Jason Cosler (“LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled!”), Jake Blais and John McCormack.

The season two voice cast includes Nicolas Cantu (Rowan), Vanessa Lengies (Kordi), Eugene Byrd (Zander), Matthew Wood (RO-GR), Trevor Devall (Emperor), Dana Snyder (Graballa), Vanessa Marshall (Hera), Yvette Nicole Brown (Lt. Valeria), Corey Burton (Quarrie), James Urbaniak (M-OC) and Matt Sloan (Darth Vader).

Watch Forces Of Destiny Season 2 Now Online!

While probably not a series I'm going to review and stat, Forces of Destiny is a fun little series dipping into the Star Wars continuity at various points. So if after the end of Rebels you want to see more of Hera, Sabine and Ahsoka, this is the place to look. Anyway, season 2 is out, and free to view on Youtube.

Hasty Departure
Hera and Sabine liberate an Imperial shuttle, but because Sabine was rushing, they board the wrong ship and it’s full of troopers! Chopper flies the correct shuttle and rescues his friends mid-air.

Unexpected Company
Ahsoka joins Anakin on a mission planned for just he and Padme. Anakin, upset at the intrusion, sets a quicker flight path that puts them in the path of a Separatist blockade. The three must put differences aside to get past the blockade.

Shuttle Shock
On their approach to Canto Bight, Finn and Rose encounter a pod of creatures in the atmosphere. When a tentacle hits the shuttle and shorts out BB-8, Finn and Rose must work together to fix BB-8 and land the shuttle safely.

Jyn's Trade
A Chadra-Fan child snatches Jyn’s kyber crystal necklace away and Jyn gives chase. When she finally catches the kid and retrieves her necklace, she realizes the child is just hungry and gives him her piece of fruit.

Run Rey Run
While scavenging inside a Star Destroyer, Rey is cornered by Teedo who is on the hunt for a valuable part. Rey tries to warn Teedo the removal of the part will trigger the vessel’s collapse, but he does it anyway and she must help them both escape after Teedo is knocked out by falling debris.

Bounty Hunted
Seeking help to free Han from Jabba, Leia, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 travel to Ord Mantell to meet with Han’s old friend Maz Kanata. Maz lures bounty hunter Boushh into a firefight so Leia can obtain his helmet and armor for a perfect disguise.

The Path Ahead
Struggling with his Jedi training, Luke is grateful for master Yoda’s offer to join him on a sojourn through the trees and swamps of Dagobah, until he learns that Yoda will be riding in his backpack! Minding Yoda, Luke learns to trust what he feels instead of what he thinks he sees.

Porg Problems
As Rey struggles to force lift stones, a curious porg snatches her lightsaber! Rey gives chase and force lifts the porg before it can dive into the water with her saber. Rey thanks the porg for the unexpected help in her training.

Just a couple of updates today based on the subject of yesterdays review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 4: The Soft War. Today I've added the Electroguillotine to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, and the Baktoid Armor Workshop Electrostaff to the Star Wars D/6 Weapons Section of the Site.

I can't believe I never did the Electrostaff before, I'm going to have to keep an eye on what I'm considering skipping as I think it's already on the site.

Oh, and yes there's Google adverts now, I'll keep an eye on them as I think currently there's too many, but I'm afraid they're here to stay, if you don't like them there's all sorts of ad blockers out there you can use.
