July/2010 UPDATES

26/July/2010 Posted by HellStormer1

Had some time to do some more today, so I have.  I've been wanting to do more Chiss-related stuff, and here it is...
In Starships D6 under Chiss Ascendancy/Empire of the HAND, I've added:
Beacon Ship, Chiss Star Destroyer (I felt the need to rework this one, and I'm proud of the outcome!), Chiss Cruiser, Chiss Assault Cruiser, CEDF Advanced Clawcraft, CEDF Heavy Fighter.
Also, in Starships D6 under EQUIPMENT, I've added: Chiss Shock Nets, Chiss Maser Weapons (Maser Cannons, Megamasers).

And just because I came across this on a now-defunct official artcile site by WotC for KotoR, I thought fans of the game would enjoy this template:
Jedi Sentinel

*Later that night*
I sat down and finally snagged all the info I needed. here is the Chiss race for use in game. I did them up as two variant rules, either use them as Humans or a different set of attributes I laid out for them. Also, people, please, if you feel differently about the attributes or any other aspect of that write-up, please do me a favor and leave comments explaining your own variants, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hello everyone!  Today I have the pleasure yet again to add more material from Jason D, who's been hard at work on the Skirata clan od Mandaloriens and clone troopers.  In Characters D6 we now have... Niner Skirata, Clone Commando Sergeant, Darman Skirata, Clone Commando, Fi Skirata, Clone Commando, Atin Skirata, Clone Commando, Corr, Clone Commando, Jaller Obrim, Coruscant Security Force Captain, Boss, Clone Commando Sergeant,Fixer, Clone Commando, Sev, Clone Commando, Scorch, Clone Commando, and Arligan Zey, Human Jedi Master
Also, I've added Strident-class Star Defender in Starships D6, a Star destroyer built by Corellian Engineering Corporation and quite prominent in the EU novels, especially the Legacy of the Force series with the Second Galactic Civil War. where Corellia tries to secceed from the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.  Many battles were fought during this harsh period due to the machinations of Jacen Solo, aka Darth Caedus, and Lumiya the dark Lady of the Sith.  It is noted that these vessels clashed many times against the Galactic-class Battle Carriers, and I tried to write them up appropriately.  I have tweaked and modified both of them since adding them, and I am about to work on some others I had added in the last few weeks.

Hey people, I had some more time to write some stuff up.  I've added Ship Mod: Shadow Bombs, Ship Mod: Stutter Fire, Ship Mod: Inertial Compensator Field Expander (ICFE), Ship Mod: Shield Rebooter, Ship Mod: StealthX Infiltration Package, and T-33 Plasma Torpedoes, all to the Equipment section in Starships D6.  As well, I've added Nssis-class Clawcraft Starfighter, Chiss Star Destroyer and Galactic-class Battle Carrier, actual starships in Starships D6.
   ENJOY!

Hey everyone, we got some more stuff from Jason D again.  We now have Maze, Alpha Class Advanced Recon Commando Cpt., Appo, Advanced Recon Commando Senior Commander, Alpha, Alpha Class Recon Commando Cpt., Gree, Advanced Recon Commando Senior Commander, Bly, Advanced Recon Commando Marshal Commander, and Cody, Advanced Recon Commando Marshal Commander, all in Characters D6.  And I must say, these are some excellent work, based on EU material!
I've also had the chance to add two of my own write-ups.  First, the Yorik-et "Coralskipper" starfighter, the standard starfighter for the Yuuzhan Vong, and the Bloodstripe Confederation Legacy-class Star Defender, something I found online and fleshed out for use here.  It's amazing what the fan community can come up with out there.
I'm looking forward to trying my hand at some more items for the Yuuzhan Vong eventually, as I am using the coralskipper as a testbed, to see what you all out there might think of it before I move on to more of their ships.  We already have several of their items, including racial stats for them, courtesy of other contributors to the site, and I had these in mind when I was making the coralskipper.

Hey everyone, I posted some more stuff today.  This break from work has given me some time to put back into the site, and I'm glad for it.
   I've added Incom T-65AC3 X-wing, FreiTek Inc. Series-III E-wing, and FreiTek Inc. Series-IV E-wing, all in Starships D6.
The T-65AC3 is a variant of the famous X-WING fighter, and has popped up from time to time in various novels, like the Rogue Squadron novels or the early portions of the New Jedi Order series of novels, and a few others.  Like other variants, it was an improvement to the original X-wing design, but it isn't as powerful as the T-65AC4 (found in the Jedi Academy Sourcebook by West End Games).
The two E-wings I did up because I saw that they had improved over time as well like the X-wing.  They are mentioned through the New Jedi Order, and even make an appearance in the Dark Nest Legacy of the Force novels.

   ENJOY!

Hello, ladies and gents!  Hellstormer1 here again, and I gots more goodies for you all.  Today I have added the Incom T-65XJ4 X-Wing "StealthX", Incom T-65XJ6 X-Wing, Incom T-65XJ7 X-Wing, Bothan Assault Cruiser, Republic Engineering Corporation Nebula-class Star Destroyer, Republic Engineering Corporation Nebula II-class Star Destroyer, and the Mon Calamari Shipyards Viscount-class
Star Defender
, all from Star Wars New Jedi Order and Legacy eras.
The Bothan Assault Cruiser has statistics in Star Wars D20, but was never officially in D6, as it was created after WEG stopped producing new material.  The Nebula, technically, is the Defender Star Destroyer from Cracken's Threat Dossier, yet not.  Apparently, there was confusion in the development of this ship, and what was in the novels, RPG resources and other sourcebooks was never quite the same.  Since then, people behind Star Wars development have done a great job of finally bringing everything together, making sure there was an "official" version of everything in the setting.  In many cases, they say any variant in the past of a thing actually exsited as a prototype or class that other official models were based from.
In the case of the Defender Star destroyer. I've always loved the idea behind the ship.  And with the updated artwork I found online, I wanted to try and make some newer stats.  This is what I added to the site as the Nebula-class, because this is what the official name is now, though there are notes that say it is also called the defender-class.  None of it is based on the material from Cracken's Threat Dossier in any way.  All I did was look over information for the Imperial Star Destroyers, online info on the Nebula, and made my own version of the ship as I thought it might be, an advancment or evolution in Star Destroyer design and production.  The Nebula II follows this, in the same manner as the Victory and Victory II and the Imperial and Imperial II Star Destroyers.  While the Nebula II is not official, I thought it was a nice idea.

   ENJOY!

Hello, Hellstormer1 here again.  I mentioned earlier I was working on some new stuff for Star Wars.  And here they are!  Incom/Subpro Z-95t Headhunter, Incom/Subpro Z-95st Headhunter, Incom/Subpro Z-95pl Headhunter, Incom/Subpro Z-95 Headhunter Type-X1, Incom/Subpro Z-95 Headhunter Type-X1A2, Crystal, Jaina Solos Z-95 Headhunter, Koensayr K-Wing Assault Starfighter, Incom T-65XJ X-Wing, Incom T-65XJ3 X-Wing, and the Incom T-65XJ5 X-Wing "ChaseX".
Just to say, I've been looking through Wookiepedia lately, and I am impressed in a lot of what I am seeing in the later future for Star Wars.  I saw that we did not have much of the starships from the later eras in the D6 section, and I had seen them before in the D20 material.  So I decided to add a few that I came across, most notably the XJ series of X-wing fighters, and I wanted to do up some of the older Z-95 Headhunters as well, since they are the "classic" of sorts.
   ENJOY!

Hey everyone, Hellstormer here, got some more stuff for you again.  Jason D sent in some more stuff again, so I proudly present Kal Skirata (Mandalorian Bounty Hunter), Walon Vau (Human/Mandalorian Bounty Hunter), Bardan Jusik (Jedi Knight), Etain Tur-Mukan (Jedi Knight), Spar (Alpha Class Advanced Recon Commando), Sull (Alpha Class Advanced Recon Commando Lt.), all in the Characters D6 area on the site.  These characters look like they'd make good additions to an adventure, or even a full campaign, as advanced characters with a deep and rich background tied to the Kaminoans, the Clone Wars and other areas involving the pre-Rebellion era timeline.
Further, I had the chance to sit down and dish out the Colonial Stealthstar (Re-imagined Series), the stealth fighter used by Bulldog in the newer Battlestar Galactica television series.  As I have said to many people, I wasn't a very big fan of the new series, but I absolutely loved the ship designs.  This is why I have been working to get them written up and posted on the site.  These ships present new kinds of weaponry and defenses, though, admittedly, I still tweak them from time to time for balance issues to make them fit better, as many of these ships have decades between their use in the BSG setting.  With the Stealthstar, I have just about all the ships from the new series done, save the Cylon Basestars and raiders from the original Cylon War and the ships of the Colonial Fleet after the Fall of the Twelve Colonies.  I will be getting these done as well.
However, something else worth mentioning is that ship stats will NOT be stopping there.  If you guys do some quick Google searching online, you will quickly find that fans all over the net have been creating new classes of ships for BSG.  I've been coming across them for quite a while, which is a bigger reason for why I am doing stats for them in D6 (and maybe D20 in the future).  Many of these ships look perfect for filling the 40 year gap between the original Battlestar class Galactica and the Mercury class Pegasus, with several other support ships as well.  These would make for much variety in a BSG-driven campaign if players/GMs wished.
The Cylons themselves, I may do at some point.  But not at present.  Right at the moment, I am about to take a crack at something as a light break from the BSG stuff, something to get back to the roots of what this site is meant for...STAR WARS!
