        Well no big surprise, the Luke vs Darth Vader fight from Return of the Jedi has won last months poll, kind of surprising that the total kung fu action of Darth Maul vs Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn didn't win although did come a respectable second. Yu Shu Lien vs Jen Yu and Neo vs Agent Smith came joint 3rd, but nothing came anywhere near challenging the two Star Wars fights at the top of the poll. The full results were . . . .

        Sporadic updates recently due to a lack of inspiration on my part, however playing through Jedi Outcast again, and digging around the official site for art means that there are likely to be quite a few Jedi Knight 2 related updates over the next few days :-D.

        Not sure if other countries bother with it, but today was Armistice Day (after a quick Google I see its remembered in the United States as Veterans Day), something a lot of people don't bother with, but one of the few traditions that I follow. My Grandmother was the only surviving child in her family after her 3 brothers were all killed fighting in the First World War, her youngest brother actually went twice, having been discovered the first time to be only 15 and sent back, only to sign up again when he was of age. I follow the tradition of the two minutes silence because as Dick Sheppard said in 1936 that the silence is "paying our debt to those who died...I can imagine no better way in which to serve the unborn generations of the future". With the world in its current state, I can think of no better thing to spend two minutes doing than to spend it thinking of those who died attempting to make the world a safer and better place and to make our lives worthy of the price they paid. It really made me proud to stand in the centre of the city where I attend university and watch everything stop for two minutes in rememberance of those who died fighting for our country, shops closing, even the police ordering a delivery truck driver to stop his engine because he was next to the war memorial, it really moved me greatly.
