VerdanTech x8 Combat Shield

The Verdant technologies x8 Energy Shield is a state of the art defensive unit.
A metal cylinder projects a circle of forcefield like energy out in front of it
so that it acts as the handle of an energy shield. The x8 is a Kite Shield
variant and covers the avaerage person from boot-tops to chin when standing
up straight. It's useful for deflecting things like blaster fire in a combat
situation.

Cost: 6,000 credits
Damage Reduction: 4
Maximum Dex Bonus: N/A, Although the user must use one hand to hold the shield
and must use a melee weapons opposing roll to successfully block the attacker.

Note:  Power pack has charge for 2 hours of use. May parry blaster bolts.
