Sonic Knife

The sonic knife was a rtaher itneresting design diea by Lumnar. Some engineer at
Lumnar was pondering vibroblades when he suddenly realized they could do it withoout
the blade. He set about creating a small, palm sized sonic emitter. The emitter was
designed to have maximum output at a very short range and be compressed over and voer.
The result was a weapon resembling a knife hilt. When a switch is activated a humming and
unseen blade of compressed vibration ripples out. The only ntocebale part of the 'blade' is
the way the air ripples and shimmers where the blade is. This blade can cut surprisingly well
and will not be picked up by any weapons scanner while deactivated.
