Description: The Raptor-X Racing Swoop is the ancestor of modern Swoops being manufactured some 4,000 years before the rise of the Empire. However the Swoop is considerably different to the designs that have been created since, especially since Swoop Racing is a very different sport to that which it once was. Where now racers compete against each other, and swoops are little more than engines with a saddle on top, the original version of the sport was against the clock, and riders were more heavily protected within the body of the swoop, and by its force shielding. Although this means that the modern sport is more dangerous and more exciting to watch with many crashes and explosions, the older swoops were actually marginally faster as the fact that they were not disposable meant that their owners were willing to invest more in their technology. Raptor-X's were heavily modified by their owners, with repulsorlift accelerators and steering enhancements being added by most racing teams.
