Description: The G1-A Transport was originally designed to be a small in-system courier and transport, shuttling small but urgent supplies between stations and planets within the same star system. It was also thought that its small cargo capacity could be refitted and the vessel used as an ambulance, rushing wounded and ill patients to facilities where they could be more adequately dealt with. The vessel was equipped with a hyperdrive, but since this was not a priority, it is underpowered and the vessel has no backup. Despite the designs weaknesses, and the original design purposer, this vessels small size but easily modified hull led the vessel to become more popular as a military vessel, with extra weapons being often added, or capacity for troops to be dropped into "hot" landing zones. The design has now been retired, but the high volume of sales means that these small and reliable vessels continue to be a common sight on the space lanes.
