Name: Heretical Blaster Rifle
Model: Galactech Alpha-One "Heretical" Blaster Rifle
Scale: Character
Skill: Blasters; Blaster Rifle
Ammo: 100
Cost: 3,500
Availability: 2, X
Range: 3-30/60/150
Damage: 6D

Description: This heavy blaster rifle was christened Heretical in an attempt to poke fun at those who swore that BlasTech couldn't be beaten as the producer of the best Blaster Weapons, and although this may have been premature, this weapon does have a large number of fans who claim that it beats BlasTech's best hands down. Its external design is a retro look, made to remind the observer of the blaster weaponry of the Old Republic era, with chrome used on most of the weapon. However its bulk and deadly appearance are cutting edge, as is the damage that this weapon can hand out. However the cost has reduced the market of this weapon to only those who truly can afford the best, and although only designated a Blaster Rifle, this weapon has found itself subject to many weapon restrictions when local governments have reclassified it a Light Repeating Blaster. A major advertising point when the weapon was released was its large indicator display, that showed power remaining and fault diagnostics, however many people incorrectly thought that this was an indicator of underlying faults within the weapon itself, for it to need such a display, and the adverts were dropped before sales suffered too badly.
