Name: Qualta Blade
Model: Luxan Qualta Blade
Scale: Character
Skill: Melee Combat / Blaster
Ammo: 25 (But recharges when in Blade mode)
Cost: 10,000
Availability: 4, X
Range: 2-20/40/80 (Ranged Mode)
Difficulty: Moderate (Blade Mode)
Damage: Str+1D (6D Maximum) (Blade Mode), 5D (Ranged Mode)

Description: The Qualta Blade is the traditional weapon of the Luxan warriors, and is a combined energy weapon and sword. The handle cranks the weapon between the two modes, splitting the blade open to allow the energy weapon to fire unobscured, then cranking it shut again so the weapon can be used as a sword and the energy cells can regenerate. The Qualta Blade is an extremely advanced weapon, and can reach extremely high prices on the black market as the Luxans do not sell them to non-Luxans, however in reality the Qualta Blade is good, but not excellent in each of its modes, and many Blaster Rifles or Vibro Weapons perform better in their own fields. However the main advantage of the Qualta Blade, is that due to its rarity, it can often pass through checks for energy weapons, allowing its weilder to take the weapon into places where it would normally be proscribed.
