Description: The SoroSuub W-90 Assault Railgun is an anti-speeder weapon designed around a magnetic acceleration chamber which fires slugs of hyperdense material at supersonic speeds. It is somewhat unwieldy, and takes a moment to fire once the trigger is pulled accounting for its difficulty in hitting smaller targets, however the massive damage which is equivalent to shoulder launched missiles, is impressive and a good selling point for this powerful weapon. Both Imperial and New Republic forces have purchased numbers of this weapon, and although it is not ideal for zero-gravity combat situations it has proven itself in methane atmospheres where rockets and missiles cannot be easily used.
