        And the next issue as we continue through this comic book series, with our review of Darth Vader: Issue 12: War of the Bounty Hunters: Prelude: Into the Trap. And today we've added Backstabber (Human Tie Fighter Pilot), Tig (Female Human Stormtrooper), & Mithel {Mauler} (Human Tie Fighter Pilot) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        One of the weird aspects of the heavily flashback nature of these comics is that I'm getting to add these minor characters from the movies, and I have to admit I'm kind of loving it.

        Okay, catching up with the stats from the reviews I did in a sequence, with todays being based on Darth Vader: Issue 11: Into the Fire Part VI: Exegol. And we've added Grand Vizier Mas Amedda (Chagrian Politician) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Unidentified summa-verminoth subspecies (Giant Space Predator) to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section of the Site.

        I apparently got a little confused and I've done two days of reviews in a row without doing stats, so here's the one, Darth Vader: Issue 10: Into the Fire Part V: The Red Horror. And today I've added Admiral Corleque (Human Imperial Officer), & Sly Moore (Umbaran Dark Side Adept and Politician) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

        Not much to be added today from our review of Darth Vader: Issue 9: Into the Fire Part IV: The Assassin Returns, as the issue doesn't cover much new ground. So today we've just added Captain of the Droid Crush Pirates of Bestoon (Droid Pirate) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        I was considering doing The Eye of Webbish Bog, but he seems to me to be more of a storytelling device than a character. But never say never.

        Okay I'm back, and while late here's my review of Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 1 Episode 12: Rescue on Ryloth, I'll try to catch up with comments on the site over the next day or so, but back to the Darth Vader comic reviews and stats tomorrow.

        Now we're onto Darth Vader: Issue 8: Into the Fire Part III: The Eye, and we've added the Lava flea (Mustafarian Riding Creature), & Lava nymph (Fire Breathing Flying Creature) to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section of the Site.
        Now the Lava Flea is an update of the Mustafar Lava Flea which has been on the site since October 2005, and were still on one of the old hand coded HTML pages from the site at that time. So I've changed them around a little and updated them. However one of the changes I've made is to make them capable of giant leaps much like an actual Flea, although they're never seen to be able to perform this kind of jump in the movies or comics. I just thought it would be interesting to make them different to all of the other riding beasts available, to give them the ability to not only scurry along like a beetle, but also to perform massive jumps over the lava flows and other obstacles on Mustafar. But as always, let me know what you think.
        Also I'm going to be away for a few days, having to be away due to family commitments. This means that the Bad Batch review will be up late, and there will be no activity on the site for a few days. But it's only a long weekend, so I'll be back on Tuesday, and will carry on as normal from then.

        Onto Darth Vader: Issue 7: Into the Fire Part II: The Assassin as we work our way through this comic series, and today we've added Baktoid Combat Automata OOM-series security droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, & Ochi of Bestoon, Assassin of the Sith (Humanoid Issues 6-13 of Darth Vader) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        Now, obviously Ochi is still currently a character in the comics, so although we know his fate as shown in Rise of Skywalker, but there's obviously chance for him to display new or unknown abilities, so we may do an updated version of him sometime in the future.

        And we're back onto the Vader comic series, and into the second story arc, with Darth Vader: Issue 6: Into the Fire Part I: The Punishment. And today we've added Mustafar to the Star Wars D/6 Planets Section, & Captain Lorth Needa (Human Imperial Officer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        Now, it must be noted that some of the pages on the site are getting a little long, (for example, today's Mustafar page) and that's causing the PDF renderer to run out of memory when you try to download the page as a PDF. Now, I'll try to rewrite the renderer to get around this (it was originally created for another project and was easy to slip into the site, so was never really intended for the load that it's under), but in the meantime, there's nothing much I can do about this for the moment.

        Back to the Vader comic tomorrow, but here's our weekly review of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, with Season 1 Episode 11: Devils Deal, which is basically a flashback episode of Rebels with a guest appearance from the Bad Batch. But since I love Rebels, that's no bad thing to me.

        It's been a while since we've had any, but today we've got a contribution to the site from Joshua Lee/Earth-742,Source with an image by NoddyBomb. The Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-800 Variants which we've added to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site, and it's a group of 7 ships, based on the fun YT design which looks like a 1970's addition to the toy line. Absolutely great stuff.

        Today's update took around 2 hours to do, which as a one off is fine, but I'm going to have to reign myself in, but I took the opportunity to add and update many things from Episode One: The Phantom Menace which got added to the site originally back in 2002/2003. Some are minor changes based on information which has emerged since, others are pretty large changes. But anyway, we've reached Darth Vader: Issue 5: Dark Heart of the Sith: Part V, and today we've added Chroon-Tan B-Machine (EW-3 midwife droid) to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, Naboo & Polis Massa to the Star Wars D/6 Planets Section, & Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps Customized H-type Nubian yacht, Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps J-type Naboo star skiff, Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps J-type 327 Nubian starship , & Theed Palace Space Vessels N-1 Starfighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

        There's been a bunch of submissions and suggestions for the site, which I haven't had chance to get around to (especially if I'm spending 2 hours like I did today. So I'll probably toke a day or so's break to get through it all over the weekend, before resuming Darth Vader.

        And we're back to the Darth Vader Comic series, with Darth Vader: Issue 3: Dark Heart of the Sith: Part III. And today we've added Beast Call to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, and Captain Tonra (Human Naboo Security Officer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        I was tempted to redo the Sando Aqua Monster and the Colo claw fish, as the versions on the site are from almost 20 years ago (and are still on the original HTML handcoded pages from when I'd actually code a page and upload it every day). But looking at them, while there's things I'd do differently (the large size of the creatures, I'd tend to use the scale rules now, to make them not only tougher, but more massive and clumsy), they're not that very different from how I'd want to create them now, so I left them alone (unless there's a demand for very slightly updated versions).

        Another week, another episode of The Bad Batch, and our review of Season 1 Episode 10: Common Ground. It's kind of what I've been wanting from this series, a glimpse at the universe in the days after the declaration of Empire, but I wasn't pleased as it doesn't seem gritty enough.
