Long Distance Comlink Upgrade

This upgrade allows communication from distant planets. It attaches
to most sized and varieties of comlinks, and some communication has
been known to be reached from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim!
The technology has been slaved over by the Empire to maintain
communication between the heavily Imperial planets and the distant
planets where the Empire has little control.

The first "Long Distance Communication Upgrade" wasn't used until
after a month after the Battle of Endor when Rebel forces knocked
out a key Imperial Communication Center located in the Outer Rim.
This forced the Empire to be creative, so they decided to use this.
Communication is still being held this way, and will until the Empire
rebuilds the Communication Center. Rebel forces have yet to grab
this technology.

GAME NOTE: Gamemasters should only allow Imperial players to use
this technology, unless stolen by Rebel or other characters.  Also be
sure to note that since this is only a minor upgrade, the strength and
clarity of the communication link will get more worse the longer the
distance.

Item: Long Distance Communication Upgrade
Cost: Not for sale on regulated markets; Black Market: 300 credits
Weight: .01kg
