Name: Pocket-sized aquarium
Cost: 10 credits
Availability: 1

Game Notes: The fish within require some care such as feeding, but the tank takes care of cleaning and protecting the fish from light mishandling. If the owner is caught in any explosions or the like, the fish will not be protected, and may die, or the tank may crack and leak.

Description: A pocket-sized aquarium was a novelty fish tank found in trade shops across the galaxy. It consisted of a small plastic cube which was fitted with a nutrient dispenser, filled with water, and contained a single or multiple fish. The trader Saun Dann sold such aquariums in his shop on Kashyyyk during the Galactic Civil War.

Dude, adding stuff from the Christmas Special, now that takes dedication.

Last Christmas I reviewed the Holiday special, and added a bunch of stuff from it. Think perhaps I should revisit it to add Lumpy, Malla, Itchy and the shopkeeper and bartender characters :) I want to be a completist.

To be fair though; I loved the pocket aquarium as a kid and for what it’s worth, the Holliday Special introduces us to Boba Fett and Bea Arthur’s character Ackmena.

On a personal note, the Holiday Special was the first Star Wars movie I ever saw, my mom firmly believing that it was the original movie and my feeling that I liked it (I was a kid!) but still felt kind of underwhelmed. Now imagine whe a couple of years later got to see the real deal; mind blown.

Living in the UK, it was never broadcast here, so the first time I saw it was last Christmas to review it for the site.
And it's really not good. But I can totally see why it would be amazing to someone that hadn't seen the movie. Darth Vader would still be cool, Han and Chewie on the falcon would be amazing, but all of that surrounded by the weird Wookiee family sitcom that comprises so much of it.
Must have been astounding and confounding to think that it was the thing that everyone was raving about.
