Character Bio -

"He is a wound in the Force, more presence than flesh, and in his wake life dies... sacrificing itself to his hunger."
-Visas Marr speaking to the Jedi Exile about Darth Nihilus.

Not much is known about the past of Darth Nihilus, aside from that he was a survivor of the Mandalorian wars. It is very likely that he was one of the Jedi who went with Revan to fight in the wars, but did not side with him when he turned to the dark side.

After the war, he was found by Darth Traya, and she began training him in the ways of the Sith at the Trayus Academy on Malachor V.

Disagreeing with his master's training methods, Nihilus plotted with Darth Sion to overthrow their dark mistress, strip her of her power, and cast her from the Sith Order. Nihilus and Sion then began the Shadow War against the Jedi, hunting them to near extinction.

Darth Nihilus's nature was all-consuming. He became a wound in the Force, his hunger was an insatiable appetite for all things living; indeed, it consumed him to the point where he ceased being a man of flesh.

Little remained of the man once this happened. He became driven almost purely on the instinct to feed on the Force energies of others. Those who survived became the zombie-like crewmembers aboard his ship, the Ravager. Darth Nihilus viewed the galaxy as a platter to feed upon.

In his Shadow War against the Jedi, Darth Nihilus tracked a group of Jedi to the Miraluka colony world of Katarr. Upon arriving at the planet of Force-sensitives, Nihilus promptly absorbed all life on the planet's surface, rendering it dead. Only one individual survived: Visas Marr.

Darth Nihilus apprenticed Visas Marr and taught her the ways of the Sith. He sent her to find and bring the last of the Jedi before him, so he could consume her power.

Unfortunately for Nihilus, the Jedi Exile turned Visas to the light, and together with Mandalore, boarded the Ravager and confronted the Sith Lord. When Nihilus tried to feed on the Exile, he exhausted himself. The Exile, having been cut off from the Force, was somehow shielded from Nihilus's power. After a short, tense battle, the Exile struck down Darth Nihilus, one of the three reigning Sith Lords.

Nihilus?s name is a reference to the Latin word ?Nihil?, which means ?Nothing?, and the Latin word ?Nihilism? which means ?Belief in nothing?.

Well.. it wasn't called the Shadow War, it was the First Jedi Purge, and you missed alot to cover.

'After the conclusion of the First Sith Civil War circa 3,955 BBY, Darth Traya, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Sion took command of the remnants of Revan's Sith Empire. After the exile of Traya, Sion utilized his Sith Assassins to assassinate Jedi, while Nihilus consumed the life of an entire planet in search of the Jedi. Nihilus's last attack was on the Miraluka world of Katarr, where nearly all of the remaining hundred Jedi died at a conclave on the planet. '

His name on the other hand, has many meanings. "Nihilism" is the belief in nothing, and/or causing neverending destruction to just make sure there is nothing.

Theres not much known about him.. but i know everything lol just an FYI, he's not Miraluka either, he's human.

There were hints through the game which came to nothing, but I liked the path they were taking. Basically they were hinting that Nihilus was non-corporeal, and was the force power of the Exile which was lost at Malachor.

Just to add to my previous comment now I've replayed Kotor2.

Both the Exile and Nihilus are wounds in the Force.

Both wounds were created at the battle of Malachor V.

Not much to go on, but I definitely thought they were hinting he was your missing Force Powers.

Radius, a "Shadow War"...like the actual Cold War, is not an open conflict. In other words, the war was fought in the "shadows", unbeknownst to the public eye and fought through clandestine means. When the author wrote this article, S/he did not imply that the conflict between the Jedi and the Sith was known as the "Shadow War", but was merely using the term to describe the nature of the way the conflict was fought.
A word of advice: Before you criticize someone, please understand that there is a slight possiblity that you are the one in dire need of criticism.
