Description: The Amban sniper rifle was a type of disruptor sniper rifle used by the bounty hunter known as "the Mandalorian."

This rifle was capable of vaporizing, electrocuting and shooting enemies. The weapon utilized solid slugs that would disintegrate a target on contact, cementing its reputation as a firearm to be feared. The front of the rifle was double-pronged, essentially acting as a taser if necessary, delivering a strong shock to opponents.

Around 9 ABY, "the Mandalorian" used this rifle on several missions. On his expedition to claim the bounty on a Mythrol, he used the taser function on a ravinak that attacked the Razor Crest.

After being commissioned by the Client to acquire the Child on Arvala-7, the Mandalorian used it as a scouting scope and sniper rifle against Trandoshan bounty hunters, Jawas that had stripped his ship for parts, and a Mudhorn that protected an egg that was used to barter his ship parts back.

The Mandalorian later used the weapon's taser function on an Imperial remnant stormtrooper while rescuing the Child from their compound. He also used it against Greef Karga and members of the Bounty Hunters' Guild during an ambush following the Child's rescue.

While defending a human tribe's village on Sorgan, the Mandalorian used the weapon against an invading Klatooinian tribe. When the Klatooinian AT-ST Raider failed to activate their trap, he gave the rifle to Cara Dune, who then jumped into the pond and fired at the walker in order to bait it.

I think you should also add to the stats, that in the show they have a scope mounted like the picture above shows. With that in mind there should be a added bonus to the Blaster Skill for when aiming which has only been the case each time it was used, he hasn't used it as a blaster rifle like IG-11 blaster rifles as he always defaults to his pistol for these situations no matter the range until he was pinned down in Navarro unexpectedly he used it in close quarters. I would say it would probably be a +2D as the scope has also been seen and used as a range finding device when off the rifle with a variable power much like the Macro-binoculars mounted on a blaster functions as. just a thought or would like to hear your thoughts if you disagree.

I would also think by its use that it is a single shot as you see him load every round. There wouldn't be any blaster packs unless the plaster packs are used ONLY for the Shock/Electrocution function of this rifle as we have not yet seen it ever used as a actual blaster rifle, I believe this is a disruptor rifle only. The Republic ban still in effect pre-Empire, Then Empire Ban, and New Republic post-Empire would in my mind double or triple the current cost of the rifle and the ammo/rounds/disruptor rounds as it not a firearm so not sure what the proper name to call them would be a item listed separately and have a expensive cost also and would be hard to get.

The name band and model of the range finder/scope would be a neat bit of info to expand on the overall what it takes to make this whole package work and cost and reason he doesn't use it every time as its quite costly to feed (use :) vs. the daily used of a blaster rifle or his pistols. Just some thoughts and would like to hear what you think. If I could find a close up pic of the scope I might be able to see what OUR world item it is.

Pretty sure he fires from the hip when he's fighting the Trandoshans at the beginning of episode 2?

If I remember correctly and please correct me if I am wrong, he uses it as a melee weapon also, shocks one and he shoulders it and fires 1 shot I believe. I think that is because his pistol is taken away/knock out of his hand. In my previous post I must have not done good in explaining that he just doesn't keep firing shot after shot you see him load each individual round.

Yep, you're 100% right. I've gone back and watched the Jawa scene, as apparently I'd remembered it completely wrongly. I knew he had a very limited amount of ammo, but in my memory I thought he managed to squeeze off a few shots, and then needed to reload.
But I see now I was wrong and he needs to load each shot individually, so I've modified the above to take that into account. I also added the scope, which I've made reduce range penalties.

Although, now I think about it, in episode 3, he uses the scope to see through the walls of the compound, so I'm not sure how I integrate that except just in explanatory text?

Mandalorians have a bonus to aiming. When a scope is used for one round of aiming, the character
receives and additional +1D to blaster. He also has a Scomp-Link in his helmet which ties in the weapon’s scope to Mando's visual
sensors, +1D to blaster. The scomp-link bonus is cumulative. I was debating whether the rifle would do 6D or 7D damage. As for the stun tip, I have it requiring the target to be within 3 meters to use.

A lot of Mando's abilities and weapons are in line or just below Boba Fett's classic stats.
