If people are going to utilize the pride of the U.S. Army, then do it proper...

What is a Technical Sgt?
How old is this lady??
Seriously...a lady in the 75th? There's NO female in ANY combat unit, let alone 75 RGR..
Bottom line; Apart from a cute MP5 lookalike, this does not ho0ld up to scrutiny in any way shape or form... Do your homework people..

i have to agree with my ranger brother on this one, i was an E-6 in the army (Staff Sergeant). but more than that, i was light infantry. the high level of skill we possessed was significantly higher than most people realized, especially the folks who are involved in gaming and in the movie industry. and yes there can be women ATTACHED to ranger regiments but they ARE NOT rangers themselves. there are no women in ANY combat arms positions within the army.
i would hate for rpggamer.org to appear the fools for not getting something right.
also, there's no way someone with a 12 strength would even be able to get through the 12 weeks of ranger school, let alone a standard ruck march with full gear.

HellStormer1: "You may be Rangers, but I've watched every episode of Stargate in every series, including the movies, I have some minor military background that I won't go into but enough to know the structure, and I've done countless look-ups for stuff in Stargate that never fit actual American military doctrine, just because I wanted to know for certan.

Stargate is, at it's core, science fiction, with "fiction" being the key here. It's already fake and make-believe, so why harp on something like this? It's petty, no matter what your military background says. Some people like to still hope for things like true equality. Maybe you could try seeing it from someone else's POV.

Also of note after looking at several of the stargate characters we have on the site, they are all characters taken from movies and made into Stargate candidates, and a lot of them keep their backgrounds from the movies rather intact, which means you blamed the wrong people.

Perhaps the blond rape victim from The General's Daughter is more up your ally?

HellStormer1: "And just to make sure I cover everything here, by 'blaming the wrong people', I mean that while those who work on the site post their own write-ups, most of what you find on the site were the creations or conversions of other people, and many of those people may not live in America. In this case, conversions of movie characters. Also, is another country's military structure the same as America's? Could something like a TSgt. Exist elsewhere? Maybe the person who created/converted this character just thought it sounded cool, which happens a lot in science fiction? And what would a pair of ex-rangers steeped in tradition and real-world "gotta-be-like-this" mumbo-jumbo be doing on a site steeped in science-fiction and little chance of real-world tradition and structure in the first place?"
