Description: The RA-7 was originally designed by Arakyd to act as a spy droid, with minimal skills the droid was given as a gift to many Imperial officers, who ignored it due to its general incompetance but feared to complain or get rid of it since it was awarded to them by their superiors. Its real job was to monitor them, recording their activities and sending them onto Imperial Intelligence, in fact so many of these droids were assigned to officers aboard the Death Star that it was nicknamed the Death Star Droid. However since then increasing numbers of these droids have found themselves "accidentally lost" and sold on the black market. Once there they usually find themselves modified so the new owner can take advantage of the advanced monitoring systems built into it.
