Description: The YSS-01 scout was an attempt by the Corellian Engineering Corporation to enter the lucrative scout ship market, and although the vessel was not much more than a modified light freighter, it still met with moderate success, but not enough to merit a follow up. The YSS-01 has a set of powerful sensors, and a good hyperdrive while maintaining enough spare room for modifications to its sublight drive. And although the ship is armed most owners like to equip it with more lethal weaponry, although this does cut into its small cargo capacity. While sharing features with the sucessful YT series of freighters, the YSS-01 is much smaller, actually coming out not much larger than some heavy fighters, which has led to some secondary market success as a shuttle.
