Description: Realizing that in order to defend against pirates and other criminals the people must have sufficient skill to defend themselves, the Assan Aeroplane Company 'New Standard' is a sporting blaster pistol primarily intended for sport and training, and the company is proud of its stylish look reminiscient of older Naboo weaponry.  It has a solid feel and good heft, reminding many of a full scale blaster pistol.   Since it is considered to only be a sporting blaster, Assan is happy to sell to anyone and everyone, and prices very competitively.

The New Standard is unfortunately rather aggravating to clean and maintain, so while many people buy them, they often degrade toward poor working order, or are rarely taken to the range.
