RanCorp MG-42 Repeater Emplacement

The MG42 was meant as a more efficient replacement to the expensive
and hard to produce MG34. The new weapon was light, very reliable,
and provided devastating firepower.The MG42 was marginally lighter,
fired faster, and most importantly, was much more cost effective and
easy to produce than the MG34. The MG42 was used on all fronts, and
was used in great numbers.

These were bought in large quantaties by both the Empire and MetaCorp.
The purchase of them by their rivals surprised RanCorp, but they were
more than willing to sell them. They were sued by MetaCorp armed forces
in the trenches of their conflict with the Palvar Defense Force in the
Palvar Sector. These emplacements would be raised up slgihtly in the
trenches with sandbags all around the barrel with enough room to strafe
it. Many offensives were ripped apart by these weapons in the Palvar-
MetaCorp debacle.
