Description: At Attin was a forested planet with an orderly population that was isolated from the wider galaxy as part of the Great Work of the Old Republic. Citizens worked diligently as analysts with the help of service droids of various types on the world beneath the Barrier, which blocked any view of the stars. By the New Republic Era, At Attin was known to the wider galaxy as a legendary treasure planet among the Jewels of the Old Republic.
Description
Orderly, peaceful, and isolated, At Attin was a hilly and forested planet. Citizens lived in the comfort of a city and its suburbs. The atmosphere was breathable to the citizens and facilitated day-and-night cycles, though a Barrier, physically composed of a network of red lights over green-blue, swirling clouds alike nebulae, blocked access to outer space and the galaxy-at-large.
History
The Great Work
At Attin and eight other planets were hidden by the Galactic Republic. Isolated from the wider galaxy, the planet's populace worked diligently as part of the Republic's Great Work program, oblivious to events off-world. At Attin's civil society was comprised of analysts and statistical accountants and considered itself an important contribution to the Republic. The city and suburbs were serviced by droids operating under the Office of the Supervisor for At Attin's government and its Great Work program. Service droids maintained public utilities such as roads, trams, and schools, while safety droids patrolled the city to ensure laws were followed. Passage through the barrier without government authorization was illegal. At some point, the starship Onyx Cinder was buried in the forest near At Attin's city.
After the glory days of the High Republic Era and a period marked by decline and corruption, the democratic Old Republic was faced by the devastating Clone Wars and then transformed into the Galactic Empire, which was only overthrown after war and tragedy, such as destruction of Alderaan. At some point, the other so-called "Jewels of the Old Republic" were destroyed, and off-world, At Attin became a mythical "lost planet of eternal treasure" by the New Republic Era. Children were told of it in stories, pirates sung its name in shanties, and its legend spread far in rumor to those seeking treasure. On At Attin, children grew up with heroic tales of the Jedi, and school students studied features of the Republic, such as the worlds Coruscant and Alderaan, but focused on mathematics for the Career Assessment Test in middle school. The exam determined each individual's career path. Some children modified and raced hoverbikes as a pastime in their neighborhoods.
Skeleton Crew
Around 9 ABY, At Attin Middle School Gamma students Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB found the buried starship with a droid named SM-33, along with a rat. Wim activated the ship and the children were unable to stop its course, leaving At Attin and into hyperspace. The Skeleton Crew reached Port Borgo, where they sought directions home but instead ran into a pirate gang led by Captain Brutus.
Invasion of At Attin
The pirate Jod Na Nawood used the Onyx Cinder to get past the Barrier in his attempt to plunder the Old Republic Mint on At Attin. However thanks to the efforts of Neel, Wim, KB, Fern, Fara, and Wendel the New Republic intervened and ultimately defeated the pirates.
Inhabitants
At Attin was populated by humans, Myykians, Ithorians, Rodians, and Vazooans, who were all aided by droids. Citizens spoke in Galactic Basic Standard and traded in Republic dataries.

At it's center was a large tower known as the Supervisor's Tower that could be seen from the surrounding forests. It has a transportation system where vehicles including school tram followed grooves in the roadway. The city had at least one school named At Attin Middle School Gamma A large open field that concealed landing pads was located in the city and allowed for transit to the underground At Attin Mint.
At Attin Middle School Gamma
At Attin Middle School Gamma was a school for young students on the planet At Attin. The students donned school uniforms featuring an Aurebesh badge that displayed "AT ATTIN" at the top and "MIDDLE SCHOOL GAMMA" at the bottom; nevertheless, the sign affixed to the school building stated "AT-ATTIN MIDDLE SCHOOL" (including a hyphen). The school was attended by Wim, Neel, Roona, KB, and Fern. The students had to take an exam called the Career Assessment Test, and there were safety droids working there.
The roof of the school housed a Turbolaser hidden under a collapsible dome when not in use. Neel located the Turbolaser using knowledge of one existing on the ruins of an identical school on At Achrann, activating it and using it against Silvo's pirate frigate during the Invasion of At Attin in 9 ABY. The Turbolaser was then destroyed by retaliatory fire.

An Old Republic Mint was a location where the Galactic Republic produced money in the form of credits. As of 9 ABY, only one mint remained in service, continuing to produce credits on the lost planet At Attin as its people remained cut off from the greater galaxy and larger affairs. Pirate Captain Tak Rennod, SM-33, and the crew of the Onyx Cinder attempted to find the mint. However, Captain Rennod's crew mutinied against him and killed him. However, Rennod rigged the Onyx to crash into At Attin.
In 9 ABY, Captains Jod Na Nawood, Brutus and their crew of pirates captured a group of children who claimed to be from At Attin. Nawood was able to convince the children let him help them find their way home. After finding Rennod's lair under Skull Ridge Mountain's Hotel & Spa on Lanupa, Nawood learned from Rennod's Datalog that At Attin had the last Republic Mint. He was able to convince his crew to spare him in order to lead them to At Attin in order to take the mint. After re-capturing the Onyx and it's crew, Nawood was to steal aboard it and was taken to the mint by posing a Republic emissary/jedi. However, Nawood and his crew were unable to take control of the mint when the New Republic Defense Force destroyed his frigate and crew.
