Corellian CC-9600 Frigate

The CC-9600 is the latest iteration of the CC series of capital ships. It is
more compact and requires a smaller crew than the earlier CC-7700 model. While
the CC-7700 was primarily a platform for a gravity well projector the CC-9600
is a dedicated combat starship. The firepower and shielding of the CC-9600 are
considerable, while increasing cargo space and allowing room to carry troops on
board.

This ship's hyperdrive modifier should be x1, as the description of it in the Star Wars Rebellion game makes it very fast compared to most other ships. The backup hyperdrive should also be at least x10, more likely x6. It was also capable of transporting one army battalion and it's non-mechanized gear (fully loaded), so cargo capacity requires expansion (Action IV = 6 battalions, so perhaps 12,500 tons). The hull should also be at least 1D tougher than a Corellian Corevette's 4D, and my preference would be 5D+1 - this ship is able to take turbolaser hits from an ISD 1 (but not an ISD 2) without being immediately destroyed. Also be aware this ship would not be available until several years after the Battle of Endor, as only a well established New Republic would have the pull with CEC to actually get it designed and into production (though by the SW Rebellion game mechanics, the rebellion did ALL the designs and construction, so. . . ). As always, the GM ultimately decides what is what, but having well written material is always a huge help.

This was one of the sets of stats saved from the old Dark Lords of the Sith website back in 2009.

If you'd like to submit an updated and more accurate version of the stats, then send them though and we'd be only too happy to put them up on the site.
