Umak Leth (Human Scientist) | Imperial Space Station 5 | Devaron | Saucer Head |
This event was during our one and only adventure playing Vampire: The Masquerade, as I`ve said before we didn`t take it exactly seriously, and the whole affair was memorable for all the wrong reasons a Vampire adventure should be. I was playing Dan Quayle, R was playing Kelly Bundy, K was was playing Jack, L was playing a detective called James Brown, but most importantly in this story C was playing a character called Bart Simpson. We were also joined by the GamesMasters brother, who was playing a character that co-owned a bar with L`s character.
The set up was we were a group of humans kidnapped and turned into Vampires. We awoke in a basement, with the smell of burning in our nostrils, looking out into the house above we discovered it was ablaze. Since fire is extremely dangerous to the dried out flesh of a Vampire, we were in deep trouble, so we started to try to find a way of escaping from this firey trap.
But C has always been a bit short of patience and made a run for it, charging through the inferno above. After making successful run tests, and managing to absorb most of the damage C`s character Bart managed to make it to the relative safety of the street, just as the GM`s brother piped up.
A: Didn`t anyone else notice this door over here, it seems to lead out into the sewers.
Which gave the rest of us a way out without having to be as damn lucky as C had been. But out on the street, Bart noticed a figure hanging around in the shadows, stalking its way towards him. Racing over to a nearby car, he tried the door, and his luck held true it was open.
As the figure raced towards him, he fiddled with the starter and managed to successfully hot-wire the car before the shadowy figure managed to reach him. And he roared away down the road.
However as he headed back towards the safety of the city of Denver, he noticed the figure was racing along behind him, but with judicious use of the accellerator, the figure faded away into the distance.
C`s character knew the streets pretty well, and after heading into the roughest part of the city, he found a quiet alley where he abandoned his stolen car. But still wary he climbed a nearby fire-escape to the roof of a building where he could watch from and see who turned up and took an interest in the car.
Clambering up the fire-escape he arrived at the roof, where he was met by the figure that had chased him, patiently waiting for him to finish his climb, it turned out to be the Vampire that had created the whole party, and Bart Simpson the vampires short life ended mere moments later as he was quickly dispatched.
This almost certainly holds the record for the fastest character death (since no-one else had even managed to make it out of the first room by the time he died) that our group has ever had.
