Elite: Dangerous Role-Playing Game

I've long been a player of Elite Dangerous, being a Kickstarter funder of the project. As you can probably tell, I've been a fan of the series since the original version on the BBC Micro (played on my friend David's BBC), through the C-64 and Amiga version, Frontier, Oolite on the PC, and most recently Elite Dangerous. I stat'ed out some of the ships from the original for the site, many years ago.
I love being a poor mans Han Solo, flying my freighter around the galaxy, although don't have anywhere enough time to play much of it at the moment.
So when the Elite Dangerous: Role-Playing Game was announced I kept an eye on it, haven't had chance to pick up a copy, but it seems quite interesting, since rather than being the crew of a ship, each player commands their own vessel, and they play as a small fleet of ships.

        Anyway . . .

BLAST INTO A DANGEROUS GALAXY…
â€â€Ã¢â‚¬â€Ã¢â‚¬â€
…where the police shoot on sight, entire systems are overrun with space pirates, and money is the only thing that talks. Gear up with high tech equipment to overcome heavily armoured combat drones, elite corporate assassins, and over-gunned soldiers of the interstellar powers.

RELENTLESS FAST-PACED COMBAT
â€â€Ã¢â‚¬â€Ã¢â‚¬â€
Each player owns their own spaceship, which is completely customizable with multi-cannons, plasma accelerators, enhanced shields and super-fast Frame Shift Drives. Land on alien planets and get behind the wheel of your Surface Reconnaissance Vehicle (SRV) to explore, or strap yourself into your own battle tank and storm pirate bases.

STRAP YOURSELF IN AND ROLL THE DICE
â€â€Ã¢â‚¬â€Ã¢â‚¬â€
Elite: Dangerous is the modern day incarnation of the seminal space trading game Elite. 30 years after the original game reinvented the way people experienced playing computer games, Elite: Dangerous Role Playing Game seeks to immerse the role player in the same cut throat galaxy experience by online players.
