Description: Theron Nett was a Human male smuggler from Ord Mantell who later became a Rebel X-wing pilot, and wingman of Red Squadron's leader, Garven Dreis, during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
Prior to the Battle of Yavin, Theron Nett worked for years as a smuggler, a career he considered himself lucky to have survived. Nett joined the Rebel Alliance's Dantooine Squadron, with squadron leader Garven Dreis serving as his mentor and frequent wingman. Later transferred to Red Squadron, he struck up a friendship with his squadmate Nozzo Naytaan, a young pilot whose excessive recklessness he sought to curb.
Joined by astromech droid R2-X2, Nett flew a T-65 X-wing starfighter as Red Ten in the Battle of Yavin, once again flying on Red Leader Dreis' wing during the second attack run on the Death Star. Attempting to cover the squadron leader from the pursuing Black Squadron, he was shot down and killed by TIE/LN starfighter pilot "Backstabber".
