This link has the original text I used for this stat write-up. As I had not watched the series since it began showing on Sci-Fi Channel back in the 1990s, the information was not fresh in my head. But as far as "referring" to this ship as a freighter, it was referred as such here. The last time I took a look at this wiki entry, the background field was red instead of white, and the pages took forever to load. I'm glad they updated the wiki, even if it's only a "clone". Anyways, since this wiki is established by fans, for fans, I guess that trumps your personal opinion. Sad, since Freddy just recently made that post about toxic fans, but hey, that's life.
I don't remember what I was thinking when I made these stats, BUT, I do see that I gave the "FREIGHTER" a hefty cargo capacity. Looking at the ship visually with fresh eyes, it looks like its cargo space could be modular, with pods slotted in as needed, and these pods could carry whatever cargo the Cylons would need, be it fuel, weapons, various parts, construction materials, slaves for execution, etc. This reinforces my own opinion that the "freighter" term fits, as it could have a "tanker" configuration, but could be configured to fit pretty much any mission profile. Ultimately, this ship, statted out as is, could be used in games as whatever the GM/players want it to be, with plenty of cargo space for customization. Considering how the Cylons work, such a multi-purpose ship actually fits them very well.
If the link doesn't appear, anyone out there reading this can find it easily enough by googling/searching for "battlestar wiki cylon freighter".
