Capsule: The Leech is an old design dating back to just after the destruction of the Neogi homeworld. The idea was to build a ship that would 'leech' onto an asteroid and transport it from one place to another. At first this was so that the Neogi would be able to launch clumsy asteroid strikes on planets, much like the attacks that destroyed their own home, but soon it was found that these ships performed much better at setting up ambushes along the spacelanes. The Leech picks up an asteroid, transports it to a likely location, and when an unsuspecting ship is pulled out of hyperspace by the asteroid's mass shadow, a waiting fleet of Deathspiders will attack it.
The Leech looks much like a decapitated spider with 6 legs. Unlike the Deathspider and the Mindspider, none of these legs point forwards, all point underneath the vessel, and are used for latching onto an asteroid. Any asteroid between 60 and 120 meters in diameter can be moved in this fashion. The Leech is not good in a fight.
A typical crew will consist of a single Neogi with his personal Vodyanki slave. An additional 6 slaves of varied races will be carried to help operate the ship. There is space aboard for many more slaves, but unless a fleet is literally overflowing with slaves, these berths are not normally used.
