Ta?von Manary
Ta?von is the artificial child of a genius Droid Engineer. Tarravon Manary, for the better part of his life served the Republic, dismantling enemy droids during the clone wars.  When the Republic became the Empire, Tarravon left and began his own private rebellion.  Having studied his heroes with the same obsessive traits that made him a genius with droids, he couldn?t believe that Jedi had been traitors.   He had the idea of modeling Jedi Droids, and deep in the bowels of Nar Shadda created his prototype, Ta?von, and alteration of his own name.  His vision of building an army of Jedi Droid wouldn?t come about however, as his natural death ended the program, leaving Ta?von ?fatherless?.
Since his father?s death Ta?von has began to explore the moon of Nar Shadda, doing what it can to help those in need.  Though far more expressive that any droid known, it is still obviously a droid, and so covers itself with a robe similar to those of the Jedi.  Ta?von has become a hushed whisper of hope to the millions of downtrodden, freeing slaves and halting attacks by gangs only to disappear once more.  Ta?von is, in many ways, a lost child trying to fulfill the dreams of a dying man.  Unlike most droids it wasn?t programmed with a personality matrix but was instead ?raised? by Tarravon, and so hasn?t fully developed its own sense of personality.

Equipped with:
Human Form: this includes more humanlike expressions of emotion which can be unsettling to some.
Tactile receptors: this not only allows for detailed pressure readings, but also allows Ta?von to feel pain.
Audio receptors: human range, enhanced to detect and amplify sounds, +1D to auditory based Search tests.
Photoreceptors: human range, with lowlight compensation, +1D for visual Search tests in darkness.
Advanced Combat Matrix: this allows Ta?von an additional action in a round for free. Two actions may be taken in a round before Ta?von begins to take penalties for multiple actions.
Repulsor weapon: a small repulsor unit was built into the left hand of Ta?von.  It has two modes of operation, Beam, or Cone.  Both are resisted by either Str, or Dex (whichever is higher).  It does no damage, but knocks enemies back.  See Chart.
Impressionable mind: due to his unfinished personality matrix, Ta?von suffers a -4D in social dealings, and can easily manipulated, though his knowledge of the Jedi code won?t allow him to do something terribly wrong, like murder. His emotional level is that of an eight year old, and is highly inquisitive.
Inertial Tracker: this internal component allows for Ta?von to recreate a detailed three dimensional map of anyplace it has already been.
        Hardened Chassis: +1D Armor.
Repulsor weapon;      RoF: 1
        Cone: 5D/4D/3D/2D/1D   1m/2m/3m/4m/5m
        Beam: 6D/5D/4D   3-7/25/75
Damage from the repulsor weapon is resisted by Str or Dex (whichever is higher), failure indicates Knockback, not wounds.  0-3, pushed back 1d6 meters; 4-10, pushed back 2D6 meters and fall prone; 10+ pushed back 4D6 meters, fall prone, and stunned.

Equipment: Lightsaber 5D, grey robe.
