Description: Arcan IV, sometimes known simply as Arcan, was a planet located within the Tion Cluster of the Outer Rim Territories.
One of the original member-worlds of the Kingdom of Cron, it was absorbed into Xim's Empire. After the empire collapsed, it would continue to thrive as a world, eventually joining the Cronese Mandate after the rise of the Galactic Empire. Located along the Perlemian Trade Route, it was the principal spaceport of the Mandate.
By the time of the Battle of Endor, Arcan IV's commercial district served as a den of smugglers, pirates, thieves, and con artists. Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca once went there looking for clues to the whereabouts of Han Solo. Later, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker went there during their quest to seek out the Dancing Goddess.
Arcan IV Spaceport
The Arcan IV Spaceport was a large starport on the planet Arcan IV, making the planet the Cronese Mandate's principal spaceport.
Lando Calrissian landed the Cobra in this spaceport during a mission to infiltrate Lemo and Sanda's gang to discover further information about Han Solo's current location after his capture by Boba Fett. After being found out by the pirate gang, Calrissian and Chewbacca fled back to the spaceport and their ship in hover cars.
Lemo and Sanda's den
Lemo and Sanda's den was the hideout of Lemo and Sanda's gang on the planet Arcan IV. Although primarily the building was used as a location for the gang to hang out, it also served as a cantina, serving drinks to those inside and equipped with booths for people to sit. However, there was a password required to get in the establishment, in order to keep out enemies of the gang. When Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca infiltrated the den, Chewbacca was able to make his way inside by simply roaring at the doorman, perhaps denoting that the security to the hideout was not of the highest caliber.
