The bounty hunter Boba Fett's Silver Speeder was a modified X-X.

The Silver Speeder was a modified zZip Product Concepts Limited X-X landspeeder owned by the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the early years of the Galactic Empire. Fett acquired the speeder after chasing down a mark on the planet Rivvidu and equipped it well to enable him to attack his targets with an armament that included laser cannons, magnetic harpoons and vibrosaws. In 15 BBY, Fett, acting on a contract from the Annoo-dat crime lord Sise Fromm to capture the young speeder racers Thall Joben and Jord Dusat, and their friend Kea Moll, followed Joben's speeder, the White Witch, into the Boonta Speeder Race. Fett attacked Joben throughout the competition, unaware that Fromm's son, Tig Fromm, had planted a thermal detonator on the White Witch. An attack involving his magnetic beams accidentally loosened the detonator, which attached itself to the Silver Speeder. Although Fett ejected in time, the Silver Speeder was destroyed.
