Description: Tyne's Horky was an ore-rich mining world in Teraab sector. Its streets were full of mining and service droids, used to mine Keschel and Nergon-14.

In 22 BBY, shortly before the Clone Wars, Zorba Desilijic Tiure was imprisoned on Kip and his property holdings on Tyne's Horky were taken over by his son, Jabba. The Galactic Empire later controlled the mining on the world.

It was on this mining world that Jann Tosh lived with his uncle Gundy and where they met R2-D2, C-3PO, and Kez-Iban. Kleb Zellock was the leader of the criminal underworld on this planet and used to run a Nergon-14 mine.

Tosh Residence

The Tosh Residence was a tent that housed the young miner Jann Tosh and his gruff uncle Gundy. Near the home was a cave that allowed Gundy and Jann to search for Keshels, the currency of the planet of Tyne's Horky. In 15 BBY, Tosh allowed his droids, C-3PO and R2-D2 to stay after he purchased them from Yorpo Mog, and later housed Mon Julpa back to health at the residence. After a cave-in occurred in the cave, Gundy was injured but relished at the fact that the cave in caused Keshels to be uncovered, making the family rich, as Gundy stated.

Tyne's Horky (town)

Tyne's Horky was a rough, rowdy, and lawless frontier mining town on a planet of the same name. The crime lord Kleb Zellock owned a piece of everything in town, and ran his criminal empire out of Doodnik's Café.

Doodnik's Café

Doodnik's Café was a small torpedo-shaped dining establishment located on the world known as Tyne's Horky. The proprietor, Doodnik, was a cantankerous Jillsarian who was usually found working behind the counter serving up Supernova or Photon fizzles.

Prior to the Galactic Civil War, Doodnik temporarily acquired ownership of the droids C-3PO and R2-D2. He put them to work as food-servers but disowned them by the end of the day when R2 began spilling drinks onto the patrons.

Many of the more underhanded dealings on Tyne's Horky were brokered at Doodnik's. A Tammuz-an alien named Sollag once met with bounty hunter Kleb Zellock and hired him to locate the lost Tammuz-an prince Mon Julpa.

Doodnik's was also the site of a scuffle between a local miner named Jann Tosh and some thugs working under Zellock's employ. A freighter captain named Jessica Meade burst into Doodnik's and saved young Jann's life.

Doodnik liked to occasionally provide live entertainment for his customers. The Max Rebo Band was known to perform there from time to time. Doodnik once commented that a portion of the diner was owned by Kleb Zellock.
