History
As a build-up to the inevitable Battle of Bomis Koori IV, Separatist General Oro Dassyne piled on a gigantic amount of defensive guns on the planet, expecting a substantial Jedi attack. When the attack came, it was slightly different from what Dassyne had expected, and, as a result of Jedi sabotage, the ray shield covering the fortifications came down, opening up the planet to extensive starfighter strikes and orbital bombardment.

After the Battle of Endor, the Bomis Koori fall under the control of Moff Prentioch. The Imperial Warlord was later defeated by the New Republic at Bomis Koori.

Places

Oro Dassyne's Bomis Koori IV fort
Oro Dassyne, a male Koorivar general in the Confederacy of Independent Systems army, maintained a fort on the planet Bomis Koori IV during the Clone Wars. The ray-shielded structure helped the Corporate Alliance, an ally of the Confederacy, since the planet was crucial to the defense of surrounding star systems. Due to the fort's importance, Dassyne increased its defensive artillery. Along with the defensive emplacements, a number of B1 battle droids stood guard within the structure. However, when two Jedi—Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker—invaded Bomis Koori IV, Dassyne perished during the onslaught, and his fort's defensive systems failed to stop the Jedi's forces. The Republic later won the battle.

Oro Dassyne, a Confederacy of Independent Systems general, maintained a fort that was gray in color. The structure's walls were ray-shielded. Since the planet Bomis Koori IV was important to the Corporate Alliance, as it was described to be the fulcrum of its defense of surrounding star systems, Dassyne increased the structure's defensive arsenal. As a result of the weapons buildup, laser cannon emplacements were present throughout the facade of the structure. The cocky General believed that the structure itself was impenetrable and imagined that it would take an army of Jedi to capture it. Along with Dassyne, a number of B1 battle droids were present in the fort.

By 20 BBY, the third year of the Clone Wars, battle-worn Separatist General Oro Dassyne was given the opportunity to maintain a fort on Bomis Koori IV, an important Corporate Alliance world. During his time in the fort, Dassyne's military style changed. Instead of relying on clever strategy, he wanted to spend all his efforts on fortifying his stronghold with more weaponry. However, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker initiated an attack on Bomis Koori IV. Despite Dassyne's belief that his fort was Jedi-resistant, both Kenobi and Skywalker infiltrated Dassyne's base and deactivated the ray shield protecting the fort, rendering it vulnerable to the Republic's orbital bombardment of the world and direct strikes from ground forces. Dassyne was killed during the attack, and the Republic later won the battle.
