Background:
U.S. Navy Commander Harmon "Harm" Rabb, JR. is a brave, outstanding Navy lawyer and officer in the Navy's Judge Advocate General (JAG) corps. Following in his father's footsteps as a Naval aviator, his father served during Vietnam. Lieutenant Commander Harmon Rabb suffered a crash while landing his F-14 Tomcat on a storm-tossed carrier at sea. It was after this Harmon Rabb transferred to the Navy's Judge Advocate General corps.
His grandfather was killed flying off the USS Hornet in 1942, and his father was shot down over North Vietnam on Christmas Eve, 1969. His mother, Trish, remarried Frank Burnett, a senior VP at Chrysler.
In late 1999 Lieutenant Commander Rabb faced a court-martial when a letter critical of the President appeared on the Op-Ed page of a newspaper and was traced to his computer. As the investigation threatens Harm's promotion as well as his entire career, a well-known conservative organization offers to represent him and Harm accepts. Eventually evidence was found clearing Rabb and he was promoted to full commander.
Among the awards he has been given are the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Combat Action Ribbon and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
Due to his professionalism and hard work he has been assigned to work on the Stargate Program.
