Description: Tao was a continental planet with rich nature and tradition, situated in the Outer Rim Territories. The planet had struggled to modernize despite its rich resources, and, during the Imperial Era, accepted Galactic Empire occupation in exchange for industrial advancement. Tao's natural environment suffered as a result of the Imperial industry, and its inhabitants became frustrated with Imperial oppression. Several Lepi, a species not native to Tao, were enslaved by the Empire during this period. The Empire also set up forced labor camps on the planet.
Boss YasaburĂ…ÂŤ, the head of a powerful clan, decided to retaliate against the Imperial oppression. However, his daughter OchĂ…ÂŤ joined the Empire.
