Description: A heavy loader droid was a model of labor droid used for loading heavy objects, often working with starfighter ground crews. The Resistance droid B-U4D (aka "Buford") was a heavy loader droid. B-R72 was also a heavy loader droid that worked near the Droid Depot on the planet Batuu.

They had strong hydraulic arms and hydraulic compressor claws to lift heavy loads and cargo. Their bodies were stocky and their armor plating was made out of ceramic material.
