Game Notes: A shield which allows force users to channel the force into blasts of energy, targeted using dice from their Control Skill, and doing damage equal to dice allocated from their Alter Skill. These points regenerate at a rate of 1D per round. Eg. A Jedi with 9D in Control and 8D in Alter, could use 5D to aim their Energy Blast, and 4D in Damage from their Energy blast, and would be left with 4D in each afterwards, recharging to 5D the next round. Force Points can be spent to double the pool of points available, and Character Points can be spent to boost the power of each blast with each adding 1D to either Alter or Control.
The shield can be also used with a Lightsaber Skill and Lightsaber Combat Force Power to parry incoming attacks as a Lightsaber Parry.

Description: The Zaly Shield, also known as the Kyberite shield was a powerful archaic shield made of kyberite that was created by the Separatist scientist Doctor Istan Zaly. Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, after he lost control of his Force abilities due to a Force Wave, the Sith Lord Darth Vader was led by the rogue archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra to Zaly's headquarters on Ringo Vinda where he acquired the shield.
