Description: Cyn was a humanoid cyborg, son of the renowned cybernetic surgeon Vig Sendvall. Cyn's father was requisitioned by the Galactic Empire to serve on the secret team that developed the cybernetic armor of Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith who served Emperor Sheev Palpatine. Dr. Sendvall was extremely proud of his work on Vader, and became obsessed with cybernetically modifying Cyn in the following years. As his father carved him into pieces, replacing his natural tissue for cybernetics, all the while celebrating his work on Vader, Cyn came to resent his father. At age 12, while Dr. Sendvall replaced Cyn's phalanges with durasteel rods, Cyn vowed to destroy Vader and ruin his father's life's work.
Eventually, Cyn lured Darth Vader to the abandoned ore-mining moon HS-197 in the Horox system by evoking Vig Sendvall's name. Vader intended to find Sendvall's hiding place, only to be told that Cyn had buried his father in a nearby graveyard. After ambushing Vader with his team, Cyn used information found in his father's journals to remotely exploit a flaw in Vader's systems and incapacitate the cyborg. Cyn completely neutralized Vader's motor functions while maintaining his afferent neural receptors. Cyn's team chained Vader down to a table in their chop shop, intent on carving him up and selling his parts. However, Cyn's exploit neglected Vader's mastery of the dark side of the Force, allowing Vader to lethally take control of the chop shop and slaughter several members of Cyn's team. Stunned by Vader's sheer ability, Cyn came to realize his father's work on Vader was indeed magnificent.
Cyn decided Vader needed to be immediately killed, and sent one of his crew, Daws, in a starship to annihilate the chop shop. Vader, however, took control of the flight controls with the Force, and crashed the ship into Cyn, causing his right cybernetic forearm to fracture, severing the connection that kept Vader shut down. Vader quickly escaped and murdered the rest of Cyn's team before holding the man at lightsaber point. In spite of Vader's escape and the blame his crew placed on him, Cyn remained proud of what he accomplished. He had incapacitated Darth Vader and had the Sith Lord at his mercy. He told the Sith that no matter what Vader did, Vader could never make him so helpless. Exacting his revenge, Vader knocked Cyn unconscious and lay him amid the nests of carnivorous insectoid creatures. Vader used the Force to pin Cyn to the ground, effectively neutralizing his motor functions, but ensuring the younger man would feel as he was torn apart. As the creatures approached, Vader announced his intention to correct the flaw in his cybernetics. To the Sith Lord, Cyn failed to realize that he possessed the greatest weakness of all, not being Vader.
