Name: Erebus
Atmosphere: Breathable
Terrain: Lakes, Canyons
Points of interest: Erebus mining facility, Imperial labor camp
Affiliation: Galactic Empire

Description: Erebus was a planet located in the galaxy. A mountainous and muddy world, Erebus had valuable resources that would be extracted by Imperial strip mining, which left the terrain even more barren and potholed. Erebus housed an Imperial labor camp which utilized prisoners for their mining operations.

Around 18 BBY, Clone Force 99 landed on Erebus to infiltrate the labor camp and extract former Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart in order to acquire the coordinates of Tantiss Base from him.

Places of Interest
Imperial Labor Camp
The Imperial labor camp was a labor camp overseen by the Galactic Empire located on the planet Erebus. It consisted of a large walled-off prison facility and a mining facility where prisoners were forced to work. In 18 BBY the facility housed, among others, disgraced former Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, imprisoned after the reveal of his involvement with the attack on Kamino, and was commanded by a warden. During that time, Clone Force 99 infiltrated the facility by hijacking one of the HCVw A9 turbo tanks utilized as prisoner transports and extracted Rampart to acquire the location of Tantiss Base from him.

Description
The Imperial labor camp was a prison located in the planet Erebus which was overseen by the Galactic Empire. The main facility was a massive walled-off fortress topped off with a tall tower and a single gate utilized by the HCVw A9 turbo tanks prisoner transports. A heavily fortified road led from the prison to a mining installation on the shores of a lake where prisoners worked in alternating shifts in grueling conditions, while retractable roadblocks and observation towers ensured the security of the prison perimeter. In the event of an incident, several Low Altitude Assault Transports staffed with TK stormtroopers were on standby to intervene, while scouts constantly patrolled the grounds to deter attackers. Mined materials were taken off-world aboard class four container transports escorted by Rho-class transport shuttles.

History
In 18 BBY, Imperial Navy Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart was arrested after Senator Riyo Chuchi revealed his connection to the attack on Kamino, resulting in his disgrace and sentencing by Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine himself. Following the arrest, Rampart was taken to the Erebus prison where he was to serve a sentence as a labor worker.

Later during that same year, Clone Force 99 infiltrated the facility after the Advanced Science Division tracked them down on the island sanctuary of Pabu and invaded the city, forcing Omega to surrender. Since the whereabouts of Tantiss Base where she was taken were unknown, Force 99 decided to extract and interrogate Rampart for the coordinates and planned an infiltration of Erebus with the help of pirate Phee Genoa. After successfully making their way through the site perimeter, Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair boarded the transport carrying Rampart after the end of his shift, knocked out the TK stormtroopers manning it and commandeered the vessel. The ruse was however discovered by the warden who dispatched another Juggernaut, Transport Two, to destroy theirs before it crossed the bridge leading to the prison grounds. The Bad Batch managed to disable the Imperial transport and break through the bridge fortifications, making their way out of the perimeter and into a canyon. There, they were attacked by LAATs who dropped TK troopers on the roof of the transport, but the Bad Batch were able to shake them off with the assistance of Genoa and her ship, the Providence, and escaped Erebus with Rampart.

Erebus mining facility
A mining facility was located in the shore of a lake outside the Imperial labor camp on the planet Erebus. Prisoners were taken there via HCVw A9 turbo tanks to work, but had to wear breath masks due to the toxic conditions of the mines. The facility had large tracks and was connected to the mine via tubes. In 18 BBY, Edmon Rampart was taken to the structure to work his shift as a prisoner in the Erebus camp.
