Description:Noab Hulis was a male Miraluka Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. He sired three daughters, each of whom would go on to serve the Jedi Order themselves. Hearing of the Jedi Chamma, who had become a Dark Jedi and gone into self-imposed exile for over a century after having felt that the Force had betrayed him, Hulis set about attempting to bring Chamma back to both the light side of the Force and the Jedi Order. Seeking out the former Jedi on H'ratth, the Miraluka at first found it exceedingly difficult to get through to Chamma. Eventually Hulis relayed Chamma's own story to him, evoking century-old memories. Hulis remonstrated that Chamma had not been betrayed by the Force, but rather that he had betrayed it, so the former Jedi returned to the Order, going on to become a significant Jedi Master.
Hulis also made connections with wealthy members of the galactic nobility, such as Barrison Draay and Alok Adasca. Draay in particular was of interest to Hulis, as he was a Force-sensitive. The Miralukan paved the way for Draay's rapid progression through the Jedi ranks, as he was trained by Jedi Master Arca Jeth on Arkania. Draay also grew close to one of Hulis's daughters, Krynda, who had been trained by Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. Hulis saw both Draay and Krynda knighted on Arkania by Master Jethā€”the two later married, and Krynda gave birth to Hulis's grandchild, Lucien. The Great Sith War, however, took its toll on the family, as the lives of both Draay and one of Hulis's daughters were claimed in the conflict.
Personality and traits
Hulis was persistent, continually attempting to reason with Chamma even when threatened with weapons and continually rebuked. He was an accomplished storyteller, as they alone were able to rekindle ancient memories in Chamma's mind, convincing him to take up the path of a Jedi once more. Initially, he chose not to cover his pupil-less Miraluka eyes, but opted to do so in his advanced age. With the admission of three of his daughters into the order, Hulis gathered a reputation for nepotism, although he also strongly advocated the development of other Jedi, such as Barrison Draayā€”despite the Human being initially older than the norm when he began his Jedi instruction.
Powers and abilities
As a Miraluka, Hulis possessed Force sight and the ability to see into the futureā€”skills he passed on to his daughter, Krynda. He also wielded a lightsaber, green in hue.
