Description: The blue aklyrr, commonly known as the aklyrr, was a rare creature found in the forests of the planet Tenoo. They were quadripedal creatures, featuring antlers and four eyes. Aklyrrs made dens on the ground, but were adept at climbing and were fast. They liked to feed on teega leaves at a certain time of the year. The town of Aklyrr Bend was named for the creatures. During the High Republic Era, the bounty hunter Ansen Strung was hired by the collector Draiven Bosh to find a blue aklyrr, and was assisted by the Jedi Initiates Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs. However, upon learning that Strung's client was Bosh—who did not intend to properly care for the aklyrr and merely wanted it due to its rarity—the Jedi convinced the bounty hunter to free the creature instead.
