Description: Sand-Crawlers are desert mining vehicles, sifting the sands of desert worlds such as Tatooine for valueable resources and metals. Large armoured vehicles, these were common sights across the galaxy during the Jedi Civil War as Czerka Industries required large amounts of resources to supply their factories as they produced enough equipment not only for the civilian market, but also for the Sith Forces which the corporation supplied. These vehicles were often the target for raids by indigenous species such as the Tusken Raiders of Tatooine, therefore they carried a few armed guards as well as relying on their thick armour plating. Once larger supplies of resources were found, Czerka abandoned these vehicles, which were stripped for parts by planetary inhabitants although famously on Tatooine they were claimed as mobile habitations for the Jawas.
