Description: The Night Hawk Assault Gunship is designed as a support vessel for ground forces, providing fast and effective air cover at a fraction of the price of starfighters. With shield generators heavy weapons and a good altitude range the Night Hawk provides a military specification air combat vehicle which can hold itself easily against standard Rebel Airspeeders and Old Republic LAAT/i's. With the gunner providing dedicated fire support, and the pilot concentrating on the vessels defence, the Night Hawk has proven itself a capable combat vehicle, and although not purchased in any quantity by either side in the Galactic Civil War, it has still managed to become a common sight on the battlefields of the galaxy, being fielded by mercenary groups and planetary defence forces.
