Description: A true Ugly fighter, the Krayt Dragon design carries elements of X-Wing's, Y-Wings and TIE Interceptors within its body, combining the two engine nacelles from a Y-Wing fighter with two of the engines from an X-Wing. The Weapons are also the combination of two of the X-Wings Laser cannons, and two of the TIE Interceptors laser cannons, with the weapons partially powered by the TIE's solar panels, the remaining energy coming from the engines. The vessel is as fragile as the TIE Interceptor hull it uses, but retains the X-Wings shields, as well as being fairly fast and well armed for an Ugly design. The Krayt Dragon is fairly popular with pirates, especially as it doesn't require too intact fighters to build using parts from a number of mangled vessels making it cheap and easy to produce and maintain.
