Description: Designed and released at the same time as the Sienar AetherSprite, the Legine Starfighter is large for a fighter but featured many of the abilities which would later become standard for starfighters. With a fast hyperdrive, good sublight engines, shields and a missile weapon for extra punch, the Legine sold well for its time even if many thought it a particularly ugly vessel. The Legine was designed as a defensive vessel for the unarmed yaghts that the Nubian shipyards were building at the time, but the Naboo N-1 Starfighter sold far better due to the success it have achieved at the battle of Naboo. The Naboo N-1 was one of the reasons for the demise of this design, but mainly the release of the Koensayr Y-Wing starfighter killed the production completely, leaving only a few examples left in operation as they were retired in favour of newer and more powerful starfighters.
