Description: Although theoretically and Ugly fighter, the engineering design that has gone into the X-Defender makes it stand out as a truly excellent piece of engineering. The cost of these vessels is high due to the combination of two X-Wings and a TIE Defender that goes into them, the 6 engines propelling the fighter much faster than an X-Wing normally flies, and the combination of the X-Wings Proton Torpedo Launchers and the Ion and Laser cannons on the TIE Defenders wings makes this fighter extremely dangerous in combat. These vessels are extremely rare, and due to their power, speed and manueverability often sell for much more than their listed value simply due to demand and skill which has gone into the design.
