Description: The YT-2000 is a successful model of light freighter from CEC, and sales have almost matched those of the hugely popular YT-1300. The 2000 is a very similar design, except has a central cockpit, and is slightly longer than the older design, the extra space is taken up with systems, so the design doesn't offer any exta cargo capacity. The extra systems make this vessel more manueverable than its older brother, and comes with a faster hyperdrive and second weapon turret. Although these vessels usually are modified far beyond their original specifications, the YT-2000 is generally considered to be fairly good straight from the factory floor, and modifications are usually only to the weaponry (a single laser cannon is not considered powerful enough by most free traders), and the sub-light drive which is not noticably faster than any of the competition.
