        Well a poll finally finishes on time, and the answer to which movie our visitors are most eagerly awaiting was, X-Men 3, a movie which although I never voted for it, is one I am waiting for. Unlike the second place movie which was Harry Potter (I haven't seen one yet, and have no urgent plans to change that state of affairs, even if it was winning for most of the month). Wallace and Gromit came third, and I have to admit that it was my choice, the full results looked like . . . . .

        Well the new poll this month is about RPGGamer.org itself, although I know most visitors come seeking Star Wars D/6 stats, I have to admit a certain curiousity about exactly which sections are your favourites, so vote and let me know.

        Well my old Windows 98 system finally crumbled and died on Sunday, and no manner of coaxing could bring the OS back to life, so I had to finally give in, format the hard-drive and install windows XP. Fortunately the system was multi-boot, so I managed to rescue all of my files, bookmarks and even some software (my installation of WS-FTP I use to upload the site I managed to keep so I didn't have to set it up again). After much hacking of XP, I've got it operating in a Windows 98'ish fashion so I can keep using the system in the same way (I've even got the same wallpaper). This took masses of time, meaning no updates for a few days, but should mean (touch wood) that I shouldn't have any major computer problems for a while. Sorry about the lack of updates, but the masses of contributions from K should keep you happy :-D.

        After K's Jedi yesterday I realised that I'd missed out some skills for the Jedi that I've been doing lately (Knowledge; Jedi Scholar and Lightsaber Repair), so I've gone back and added them in for Qui-Gon Jinn, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Mace Windu. I'll have to have a look and see if I missed them for the other Jedi on the site and rectify that error if I have.

        Well I mentioned having an idea for 'themed' updates, well today is the start of this idea. For the next couple of months I'm going to do updates along a certain theme, similar to the way I was doing Knights of the Old Republic stats at the beginning of this year. This month the Theme is simply Characters, and every update this month will be a character. These will be from the prequel movies (so expect a lot of Jedi) and from the computer games (theres some KoTOR characters I missed, as well as some from the Jedi Knight games that I was covering late last year, as well as newer games such as Republic Commando. Also if anyone would like to submit character stats, maybe the villain or a memorable NPC from your campaign, then I'd love to put them up on the site, so mail them on over. I'd also like to point out that submissions to the site will be used as soon as possible, whether they match a months theme or not, so don't think if you've got a great starship or vehicle that you were thinking in submitting that I won't be interested because it doesn't match this months theme, I love to see all submissions, but will especially love submissions matching a particular month's theme.

        Next month I think the theme will be Planets and Places, although if anything else takes my interest before then, then I'll change my mind. Other theme's I've got in mind are KoTOR 2, The New Jedi Order, The Clone Wars, Creatures and Alien Species. Although this singularity of purpose for a month may mean that some visitors are less than interested in updates during some months, it some mean that I've got a direction to be working in each month, avoiding the lack of direction and boredom that caused the shortage of updates in the past couple of months.
