Description: The Amaxine Space Station, also known as the Amaxine Station, was an ancient space station in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories that orbited a dying star in a star system. Built by the Amaxine warriors to facilitate their campaigns, the station was abandoned after it was infested by a dangerous sentient plant species, the Drengir, which were in tune with the dark side of the Force. The Sith later sealed the Drengir there.

Characteristics
The Amaxine Space Station was an ancient space station in the galaxy that consisted of a central sphere encircled by a number of rings. It was located in a star system where it orbited a dying star. The station had several hyperspace relays that would travel through hyperspace to a predetermined location.

Role
The station was built by the Amaxine warriors to facilitate their campaigns.

History
Ancient history
The Amaxine warriors who built the station abandoned it after it was infested by the Drengir, a dangerous sentient plant species that were inherently in tune with the dark side of the Force. The Drengir were later sealed at the station by the Sith.

High Republic Era
During the High Republic Era, multiple starships, including one carrying Jedi Masters Cohmac Vitus and Orla Jareni, Jedi Knight Dez Rydan, and Padawan Reath Silas, were stranded at the station in the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace Disaster. During their mission, Rydan was injured and was unintentionally transported through one of the hyperspace relays, leading his companions to believe him to be dead. Upon finding the Sith statues, the Jedi took them back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, unknowingly awakening the Drengir.

Returning to the station and putting the plants back to sleep, the Jedi were forced to again awaken the Drengir when the Nihil marauders, who hoped to use the station for their bloodily raids, arrived. In the end, Silas destroyed the station's hyperspace pods after rescuing Rydan, also sucking the Drengir and most of the Nihil aboard out into space. However, the Great Progenitor survived. Additionally, disturbing her rest had awoken Drengir across the Outer Rim, beginning a crisis that would last until the assault on Mulita.

Imperial Era
Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, during Lady Qi'ra's attempt to destroy the Sith as the leader of the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn, her associate "The Archivist" moved the Fermata Cage to the station to allow it to feed with its dark side energy. The Archivist's suspicions were correct and the Cage began consuming the Drengir plants, building up the energy necessary to open. Its power notified Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious and his Sith apprentice Darth Vader, who both followed the disturbance in the Force to the station on board the Executor with a force of Imperial Star Destroyers backing them.

The two Sith had been led to believe an ancient Sith Lord was trapped in the Cage, but Qi'ra hoped to draw them in to lock them away. Qi'ra's Dawn Fleet arrived on the system and engaged the Star Dreadnought to buy the Archivist the time she needed, while the Dawn's starfighters defended against the Imperial TIEs. Nevertheless, the Emperor and Darth Vader landed to the station on board the Emperor's Lambda-class T-4a shuttle accompanied by royal guards and death troopers and engaged the Dawn's troops.

The Spark Eternal, which was in possession of the body of the archaeologist Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, arrived at the station and was greeted by Qi'ra. Vader and Sidious made their way deeper into the station and were greeted by the Spark, which Vader quickly handled and Force pushed out of Aphra. Having made their way through the battle, Sana Starros' crew then saved Aphra from the Spark when it attempted to possess her again. When the two Sith encountered the open Fermata Cage, Qi'ra and the Archivist, both overlooking the incident from their own ships, activated the final stage of their plan to lock the two Sith inside. However, the Knights of Ren arrived in the system and fired on the station, collapsing the Cage in the name of proving themselves to the Sith.

The wave sent out by the collapse devastated the Dawn fleet, which the Empire targeted the remnants of while Qi'ra gave a retreat order. The Knights then boarded the station to meet the Sith, with Sidious torturing them with Force lightning but promising they would serve him. The Spark, meanwhile, took refugee in a disc left behind by the Fermata Cage, where it would stowaway in a KX-series security droid helping Imperial personnel clean up the station at Palpatine's request.

New Republic Era
With Sidious having learned of the station's existence, it would later become the homebase of Snoke, the Supreme Leader of the First Order and a pawn of Sidious, during the time of the New Republic. As Snoke resided in the space station, Ben Solo, who had destroyed the Jedi Temple of Luke Skywalker after believing he had killed Luke Skywalker, visited the station to meet with Snoke.
